North Eastern Weight Loss Surgery has been performing weight loss surgery since 2003.

We currently have two dedicated bariatric surgeons both with extensive specialist training in gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass as well as revisional surgery.

Our surgeons focus primarily on weight loss surgery as well as being regularly involved in Australia-wide committees and conferences to help shape the practice of bariatrics in this country. 

Our aim is to set the standard for primary and revisional bariatric surgery in all its forms in Melbourne.

With Merril Bohn we have one of the most experienced bariatric dieticians in the country with over twenty years of experience.  Both surgeons also operate at Box Hill public hospital where some of the largest and most challenging patients may be found through the government-assisted system.

We operate out of Epworth Eastern Hospital in Box Hill and our consulting covers an area which includes Greensborough, Rowville, Caroline Springs, Bendigo and Kyneton.

At North Eastern Weight Loss Surgery the surgeon conducts pre-operative and post-operative visits without delegation to a general practitioner or nurse practitioner.
